The Golden Compass

Last Sunday Ryan took me to see The Golden Compass, which I thought was a pretty good movie. When the movie was over I wanted to know the rest of the story, so we went to the book store to get the books. As I am reading the book I notice it is not following the movie that we watched on Sunday. They characters, who said what, and who does what are jumbled as well as the series of events. I hate when the movie makers do not follow the books. The book is much better, no surprise. The story, I thought, has alot more detail than the movie. So if you want to watch the movie I'd read the book first so the events in the movie make more sense. The book tells you why things happened where the movie does not.
